An interview with the stunning Russia based model, Victoria Pichkurova and a selection of her pictures, enjoy!
How long have you been a model?
In total, I worked as a model for 3 years. With breaks for other activities as the hotel business, study, or video blogging.
How did you get into modelling?
At first I saw the American show on American Top Model with Tyra Banks. I was inspired and began to dream about modelling. Then I came across an advertisement for a casting, they were needing a girl for the cover of a magazine. All started there.
How was your first shooting? Tell us a bit about that first experience.
It was photo shoot for a cover of a magazine. Because of Christmas (Russian New Year) there were makeup and hair style like Snow Queen, but a very strange Snow Queen. It was an enormous Christmas tree made of my hair. Make up artists did it awful and the makeup used made me feel uncomfortable. After that I tried to clean it all night and I lost a lot of hair trying to brush it. Anyways, I was very happy to be a model for a cover of a magazine.
It was great experience to work with the best make up artists, stylists and photographers in my city.
What does modelling mean to you?
For me, this is not my main activity… it’s the beginning of my journey. Ideally, I would like to be an actress or TV host on television. In Russia, being a model is a good start.
A model you particularly admire?
I admire Emily Ratajkowski. She is great. Unlike other models, she’s really feminine and sexy.
If you could choose, where would you like to shoot?
I love sexy and feminine images. I dream of smart shooting on the beach in the style of Victoria Secret models.
What is your dressing style in everyday life?
I love the light dresses, shorts, tops, hats. I love the simple, comfortable clothes that emphasises my figure.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
My dream is to travel to the United States and in Italy, look like there. If I like a different country and with pleasure will move and live in two countries. I will never leave Russia, I love it.
What is happiness?
Happiness is to have a goal and strive for it. Happiness is movement, bright, full of positive life events. And of course, to love and be loved.
Where can we find you on a Friday night?
I don’t go to clubs, you will probably find me at home under the covers with a book in my hands.
